Acclaimed singer, storyteller and leading vocalist with Yaaba Funk, Helen McDonald sings jazz and soul that inspires memories and nostalgia which our elders can access by phoning her between 2-5pm Mondays to Thursdays. Helen has sings a full repertoire from Jazz Queens Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday and Nina Simone, she'll be taking requests and inviting participants to sing along. Promoted in partnership Duckie’s Posh Club the Telephone Jazz Singalong offers a joyous interlude from the daily void that social distancing can bring, especially for elders without access to the internet, or just in need of a little something special.
